Carol Strong Forester
Sep 5, 2017She was born on May 15, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Lynn Strong and Susan Ina Scovil. She grew up in Nephi and American Fork, Utah.Carol graduated from American Fork High School and graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree. She met the love of her life Bobbie Ray Forester and they were married on February 6, 1960 in American Fork, Utah. Later they were sealed in the St. George Temple on February 1, 1964. Carol retired after 20+ years with Alpine School District.She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings. Carol loved playing the organ at the Mount Timpanogos Temple. Carol and her husband Bob served as Welfare Missionaries at the Lindon Bishops’ Storehouse for 3 years.She is survived by two daughters Suzanne (Francis) Carson, Nancy (David) Turner, a daughter-in-law Launa Forester, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way, a sister Alice (Wayne) Ballard, two sister in-law DeLloyed Felt, Jennifer Forester. She is preceded in death by her sweetheart Bobbie Ray Forester, her parents, one brother Max Strong, one sister Alta Miriam Strong, two sons James Mark and John Paul Forester.Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Battlecreek Fifth Ward Chapel, 825 S. Loader, Pleasant Grove with a viewing from 10 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Family and friends may also attend a viewing Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
